Four Borders
Wuhan CBD is located in a geometric center of Hankou district, where its east borders Qingnian Road and Changqing Road, the south borders Jianshe Avenue, the west borders Hanxi Road, and the north borders Fazhan Avenue. It has 7.41 square kilometers and has been considered to be the “new heart” for Wuhan city on the site of the demolished Wangjiadun Airport.
Convenient Transportation
Wuhan CBD is 13.2 kilometers away from Hubei Provincial Government office building, 6 kilometers away from Wuhan Municipal Government office buildings, 1.8 kilometers away from Hankou Railway Station, 17.8 kilometers away from Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone and 21 kilometers away from Tianhe Airport. With its important position as the door of Wuhan city and the window for external communication, it has been considered as “the Junction of the Three Wuhan Towns.

Electricity: There are three 110KV electric power substations around Wangjiadun area as well as electric cables and channels on its peripheral roads, that is, on both sides of Jianshe Avenue and Qingnian Road.

By extending across the two most developed districts in Hankou area, namely, Jianghan District and Qiaokou District, Wuhan CBD has its unique surroundings. On its north lie the Hankou Railway Station and Jianghan Economic Development Zone. On the west lie the Hanxi Train Freight Station, Hanxi Building Materials Market and Qiaokou Economic Development Zone. On the south lies the business and commercial area on Jiefang Avenue. And on the east lie the financial street on Jianshe Avenue and the biggest inner-city park, Zhongshan Park.
